Zach Berta-Thompson is a professor of astrophysics and planetary science at the University of Colorado Boulder. He studies the tiny eclipses of exoplanets (worlds orbiting stars other than our own Sun) to observe the atmospheres of distant extrasolar planets. He loves teaching how to meet the Universe through hands-on observations.

Erica Ellingson is Professor Emerita of Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder and a member of the Center for Astrophysics and Space Astronomy (CASA). In addition to her academic work, she has led numerous public outreach programs and eclipse expeditions, sharing her passion for the night sky with students and travelers alike.

Nick Schneider is a planetary scientist at the University of Colorado in Boulder and leads the Imaging UltraViolet Spectrograph Team on NASA's MAVEN mission to Mars. He has lectured in support of four large eclipse events, focusing on participants’ appreciation of how eclipses work.

Tese Wintz Neighbor began guiding in the early 1980s and has since led more than 50 trips. As the Global Classroom Senior Director of the World Affairs Council, she organized teacher training around an international King Tut exhibit and hosts college students and professionals from the Middle East and North Africa at her home in Seattle.

British-born raconteur-explorer Bill Jones has led tours in more than 180 countries over the past 40 years. Bill’s deep knowledge of local history and firsthand experience of the contrasts between the tribulations of some countries and the prosperity of others gives him a unique understanding of the regions in which he leads tours.
